The 1st sunflower festival

Sunflower field has an area of hundreds of hectares of TH milk company which is inherently grown since 2010 to feed nutritional supplements for tens of thousands of herds in the farm of companies. On the occasion of December every year, sunflower fields teemed with yellow blooming brilliantly creating a charismatic beauty, attracting thousands of visitors to enjoy for the years.

However, because the sightseeing activities and services are completely spontaneous, unplanned, lack of culture, loss of public order and cause traffic jams on Ho Chi Minh route running through the district Nghia Dan in sunflower season.

The preparation

To overcome these problems and create a beautiful image for Nghe land, Nghe An Province Peoplea��s Committee has assigned the Department of Culture in collaboration with TH Group, Nghia Dan District to build the scheme to organize Sunflower Festival and plan to turn colorful flower fields into tourist attractions as a new tourism product.

As known, in preparation for the coming festival of sunflowers, TH milk company and local people have raised planting flowers area doubled compared to that of 2015. Currently there are some areas, as expected, blooming in December. In addition to sunflowers, the district also mobilizes people to prepare the agricultural produce in the region to serve tourists such as guava, orange, banana a��
