The World Travel Awards 2023 Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam

The World Travel Awards (WTA) is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and comprehensive awards programs in the global travel and tourism industry. Established in 1993, the WTA aims to recognize and reward excellence across various sectors of the industry, including destinations, hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and travel agencies.

The awards are determined through a rigorous voting process that involves industry professionals and consumers from around the world. Nominees are carefully evaluated based on their quality of service, customer satisfaction, innovation, sustainability practices, and overall contribution to the travel industry.

The WTA hosts regional ceremonies in different parts of the world, culminating in the grand finale where the winners of each category are announced. This year, 2023 The World Travel Awards Annually, I just received the list of ward winners at the 30th annual World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia and Oceania Gala Ceremony 2023, held in Ho Chi Minh City. Viet Nam was honored as Asia’s Leading Destination and Asia’s Leading Nature Destination for 2023.

Additionally, Ho Chi Minh City received two awards for Asia’s Leading Business Travel Destination and Asia’s Leading Festival and Event Destination. Tam Chuc National Tourist Area in Ha Nam Province was recognized as both Asia’s Leading Cultural Destination and Vietnam’s Leading Cultural Destination. Cuc Phuong National Park was honored as Asia’s Leading National Park.

Moc Chau Town in Son La Province was named Vietnam’s Leading Natural Destination and Asia’s Leading Natural Destination. Ha Noi was recognized in three categories: Asia’s Leading Resort Destination, Asia’s Leading City Destination, and Asia’s Leading City Tourist Board. Phu Quoc City in Kien Giang Province received the title of Asia’s Leading Luxury Island Destination.
